Automatic holds
Newly produced lots are quarantined until QC explicitly signs off — the safe default, enforced by the system.
Quality / Compliance
Hold, test, release — by the book.
Quality can't live in a spreadsheet that production happily ignores. If QC isn't wired into the workflow, product can move before it's cleared — the exact scenario you cannot have in regulated manufacturing.
We made quality part of the flow rather than a parallel process: lots are held by default, results are recorded against specs, and only a passing result releases product downstream.
Newly produced lots are quarantined until QC explicitly signs off — the safe default, enforced by the system.
Results are recorded against defined specifications; an out-of-spec result routes the lot down the right path instead of slipping by.
Product physically can’t progress to shipping until quality has cleared it.
Quality is enforced by the system, not by someone remembering to check. Out-of-spec product is caught before it leaves the building.
Client and implementation specifics are kept confidential — this describes the shape of the work, not a named engagement.
